Research centered around the importance of early digital interventions among Virginia rural learning communities, through a school choice lens (manuscript available upon request). Utilized said research to crowd-source financial resources from local businesses to implement a "Happy Healthy Field Day", where children received bookbags with school supplies, hygiene kits, dialogued about the importance of healthy happy habits, learned about local fauna and management and about how to create healthy and affordable snacks/foods with the stores in the local area.
