Started professional employment by instructing meteorology lab classes for pilots during college. Heavily involved with the National Weather Service (NWS) since junior year of college, during which I became an intern. After a year of serving as a Pathways Intern in Phoenix, I was offered a full-time position upon graduation at Boise. I currently work for NWS Boise, hoping to focus my training on Emergency Response, Incident Meteorology, and IDSS. Research interests involve fire weather, hydrology, and perhaps a little avalanche science.I graduated with Emergency Response Meteorologist and GIS certificates. Previous research includes studying Severe Thunderstorm Warning characteristics/consistency/verification in the 2022 North American Monsoon in NWS Phoenix's CWA, and disseminating radar data from Trentino, Italy for the application of a storm tracking algorithm.
