During my time at AgFirst, I gained experience developing and deploying software critical to the bank's daily operations. I upgraded major parts of the system the bank's associations use to place checkbook orders while also developing an administrative tool to help bank employees maintain the system. I worked with a team of professionals from various departments and backgrounds to ensure these applications were throughly tested and documented. Lastly, I developed a proof of concept web API using the newly released ASP.NET Core platform to demonstrate possible integrations of Box.com's file sharing services with the bank's existing software. This application exposed me to architectures like MVC and REST, which I implemented into the app.

During my time at iD, I worked as an overnight instructor. My primary job was teaching kids ages 12-17 to program in Java, create mods for Minecraft, and build circuit projects using an Arduino kit. I was also responsible for supervising 80 kids, ensuring their safety and fun throughout the week. I worked with other instructors and my camp directors to introduce fun new activities, and create systems to make camp run more smoothly and efficiently.
