I believe in the idea that everyone is unique and I enjoy understanding someone's individual psychology.My current role as the Online Operations & Customer Service Manager, sits cross functionally within the business and has two main parts to it (Online Operations and Customer Service). The Online Operations portion has me focusing on our E2E e-commerce processes to find customer pain points and continue to improve and optimise the online experience. On top of this, I work closely on website UI/UX with the marketing and development teams, as well as SEO, customer acquisition and customer retention strategies with the digital marketing team.As the Manager of the Customer Service Department at Bailey Nelson, I am responsible for the recruitment, training and continued development of a team of customer service agents and online fulfilment managers, to deliver a personable and human based touch point for our customers to reach out to. We take a proactive approach to customer service as a company and this involves looking for trends and evaluating current systems and processes to make sure that we catch problems early and find effective solutions. As part of this role I am also tasked with building automated bots and integrating a range of automation, Artificial Intelligence and technology solutions into the company's processes.One of my strongest values is continual improvement. As a lifelong learner I am always looking for ways to increase my knowledge and develop myself both personally and professionally. I love being around intelligent individuals with experience and expertise, where I can pick their brains and learn from their valuable insights. My goal is to continue to have a lasting impact on the businesses I work for, and be adaptable and agile so that I can take on a range of roles and projects across many areas.
