A passionate student of history, I have always been fascinated by the wonders of the past. This fascination led me to pursue my Bachelor of Arts with a major in History and a minor in English at Nipissing University. My final year with Nipissing saw me take all the skills I learned from my first to fourth year and put them to use in two honours seminars where I worked with resources like the archives of the Hudon's Bay Company and the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources, as well as multiple newspaper archives from the New York Times, Boston Globe and Chicago Tribune. I have worked on multiple multi-million dollar landscape projects that helped me develop a keen eye for detail and an appreciation for the hard work that goes into landscaped spaces. Outside of work and study, I am an avid Tolkien fan, and an unfortunate hockey and rugby fan. I'm my happiest in nature either on a hike, a run, or in a canoe and am passionate about the outdoors.
