As a driven accounting professional with a background in audit, assurance, and financial reporting, I currently work as part of the external reporting group at Ontario Power Generation. In this role, I collaborate across multiple business functions to support quarterly MD&A reporting and evaluate financial statement disclosures under US GAAP, while also providing guidance on complex accounting issues and transactions.I am deeply passionate about the transition to sustainable energy and its critical role in shaping a better future. As part of Ontario Power Generation, I take pride in supporting the financial operations of an organization that is committed to clean energy initiatives.With a Bachelor and Master of Accounting, and as a CPA candidate, I bring a strong understanding of financial principles, compliance requirements, and business processes. My previous experience in audit for non-profit organizations has further honed my skills in risk management and operational efficiency.My long-term goals include advancing within the accounting profession while contributing to the growth of the sustainable energy sector.
