I now plan to take this specialized experience and knowledge and combine it with my love for design and art to create a unique hybrid of creative and analytical skills to build the best products for users.While being a father of three boys under three years old, and still working full time at the hospital, I invested an additional twenty hours a week to become a UX Designer. I quickly realized that not only did I really enjoy UX, but I was quite good at it. I know the importance of correctly observing, testing, and analyzing information when conducting user research to design a product or interface that will last. User research is vital in the process of designing and creating a product or interface. Luckily, research has been ingrained in my bones since I began studying science more than 10 years ago. My background in science and the medical field combined with my love for design and art creates a unique hybrid of creative and analytical skills - this is the secret sauce that sets me apart from the rest. I am eager to take on the responsibilities and roles as a UX Designer. The motivation I have to apply my current knowledge as well as to learn much more will make me a great asset wherever I go.
