I have been working since I was 15 when I started as a basic employee at an order fulfillment company called MBI auto. I worked summers and when I had breaks from school, this experience helped me develop a great work ethic and amazing experience with getting along with coworkers. It also pushed me to be a better communicator in the business setting. When I turned 16 I got another Job at a ZOYO yogurt shop. I would work after highschool also every day and I was able to gain even more communication skills as well as conflict resolution. As a ZOYO employee, I gained the title of the shift leader, some of my responsibilities were filling ice creams and topping, running the register, counting and documenting the register at the end of the night and training other employees. I believed this job helped me gain a good foundation for working with others and participating in organizational culture. I quit this job during my senior year of high school to continue working at MBI auto. During my senior year of high school, I was presented with an opportunity to start and manage an expansion branch location at MBI auto. I accepted the offer and began planning with the company owner for properties as well as employees. As time passed I was challenged with managing my schoolwork and starting up an order fulfillment warehouse. In just a couple of months, I found a property that fit the criteria, began setting up the offices and general warehouse locations and hired a few employees. I am now 19 and managing more than $200,000 worth of product and equipment. I take great pride in work and will continue to work as I complete my last two years of education at Grand Canyon University.
