As a recent UCLA graduate with a degree in Cognitive Science and Computing, I have a passion for applying technology and data to solve complex business problems. My most recent role as a Business Development Associate at Issuance, a leading FinTech platform for pre-IPO capital raising, allowed me to leverage this passion and develop a unique sales strategy that targeted founders in emerging sectors such as electrification, mobility, and real estate private equity. Thanks to my strategy, we sourced and engaged with qualified leads and ventures, and facilitated partnerships between them and notable brokers, transfer agents, and marketing firms. We also successfully launched a Regulation CF funding offering in December 2022, which enabled companies to raise strategic growth equity from individual and institutional investors.In addition to my experience at Issuance, I have also gained valuable insights and skills in the venture capital and startup ecosystem through my involvement with Bruin Ventures, UCLA's venture capital club, and my internships with Vivid, a Point of Sale startup, and Prefix Capital, a seed-stage VC fund. As a Project Lead at Bruin Ventures, I worked on consultative projects with early-stage startups and established VC funds, conducting market research, financial analysis, and pitch deck preparation. As a Strategy and Business Development Intern at Vivid, I facilitated the launch of their Point of Sale product in July 2021, pitching new leads, nurturing client interest, and providing platform demonstrations. 5.
