The Donut Run Jun 2022 - Jan 2023
    St George, Utah, United States
I am currently working as an Assistant General Manager at The Donut Run. The Donut Run is a local donut shop which was founded by a close family friend of mine. My dad took the role as the General Manager of the St. George location and I came on his staff as the Assistant General Manager. This store was a brand new location and I had helped in everything from the designing of the menus to cleaning the bathrooms to get the store ready to open. I traveled to an already established location and trained for two weeks before coming back home and training a brand new pool of 15 employees. I learned and taught the whole process from making the donuts to selling them and everything in between. I also learned and have utilized a lot of marketing and sales analytics skills throughout this job. I have the opportunity to wake up at 3:00 AM every weekday and start my shift at 4:00 AM. On average I work 30 hours a week as well as work a second job as a graphic designer and am currently enrolled in 15 credits at Utah Valley University. I now manage 25 employees and am the on duty manager in the morning, which at a donut shop is the most crucial time. My main responsibilities include providing the highest quality of customer service, training and retraining current and new employees, and keeping our small business up to standard as needed. I have developed skills such as team management, operations management, and sales analysis.
  • Lumio
    Commission Sales Associate
    Lumio Dec 2021 - Jun 2022
I worked as a solar sales representative for Lumio Hx throughout my second semester of college. I started working on a trial basis as I went on my first week-long “blitz trip” to Ridgecrest, CA with a sales team called The Golden Boys. Within my first week I set nine sit down appointments and three of my deals ended up closing and getting installed. I then decided to leave my job at Nike and sell full time. I registered all of my second semester classes strictly online based and I went on a week-long trip each month from December to April then for a three week period in May before my time with the company ended. My responsibilities as a sales representative included going door to door to set appointments for closers, managing my own working hours, and providing excellent information as well as customer service to those I came in contact with. I also had some great leadership opportunities in this company as well. I trained a new rep who had never sold door to door before on a one on one basis for a whole month. That rep started selling in the summer, has had multiple deals closed, and is still currently with the company. I also was involved in and led different trainings and to bigger groups of sales reps. I also had the opportunity to use my graphic design skills in this job as well. I created a brand identity for “The Golden Boys” and produced products such as hats, apparel, posters, and social media posts for the company. In my time with Lumio Hx., I won the top setter award for the off season within my sales team which consisted of over 50 reps. I built great relationships with the team and I learned more from this job than any job I have had previously. I developed skills such as how to manage my own working hours, sales tactics, incredible communication skills, and most importantly how to effectively build connections with people.

I worked at the Nike Factory Store in Lehi, UT as a retail sales worker for my first semester of college. I started at Nike because I wanted to be a part of the best sportswear brand in the world. My responsibilities included opening and closing the store, training other athletes, working in all store zones, serving customers to help fit their needs, organizing the sales floor, and primarily focused on digital sales. In my short time at Nike I won September MVP (Employee of the month) in my second month of work, finished top 3 in MVP voting among managers in 3 of the 4 full months I worked there, and led digital sales across the board for 3 of the full 4 months tallying 491 Nike Plus membership sign ups, and 2,185 linked membership purchases. I built great relationships with managers, athletes, and customers and I learned a lot from these amazing people as well.
