Senior Manager for Planning & QS for ongoing 9 projects in various parts of Kerala.

Major Duties includes preparation of Client Billing, Change notification & preparation of Variation Orders, Checking of procurement quantities & Controlling procurement orders, Quantity estimation & preparation of BOQ for tendering, rate analysis & subcon package preparation for tendering works, assisting in Cost Control and Budget monitoring, subcontract work allocation, negotiation of Quotations, preparation of subcontractors payment certificate and VOs.

•Preparation of quantities as per SMM7 and check against the Project BOQ.•Co-ordination with design teams in reviewing the drawings and raising the change notification to the Consultant.•Preparation and agreement of variations with the client’s surveyor and the subcontractor.•Preparation of monthly interim valuations with all documents as per the requirement of consultant.•Co-ordination and evaluation of sub-contractors interim applications.•Site Progress meetings.•Assisting cost controller for forecasting the project.•Making daily and monthly progress reports.

•Reviewing contract drawings and specifications, identifying key areas of priority, devising job specific method statements for key operations in coordination with Commercial Manager.•Preparation of quantities as per CESMM3 and placing the order.•Measure projects based on bills of approximate quantities as the work proceeds, on site and from architect’s drawings, and value at contract rates.•Preparation of monthly interim valuations.•Preparation and agreement of variations.•Dealing with extras, claims and contra charges in relation to sub-contract packages.•To provide technical input to planning department in finalizing contract program.•Making daily and monthly progress reports and attending the technical meetings with consultant and subcontractors.

•Working to achieve targets for development of projects within agreed time, cost and objectives. •Estimation and allocation of resources at correct place on time for the easy execution of the work. •Supervision and Quality assurance of all construction works. •Preparation of sub contractor’s monthly payment.•Co-ordination with the Planning Engineer for the timely completion of the project.
