Jackson, currently a multi-state Business Development Specialist at the New Era Cap Company, has crafted his talent & skills from a unique background, through unparalleled personal, professional & life experiences. Graduating cum laude from Gonzaga University (Spokane, WA) he went on to receive his MBA, from Gonzaga's Graduate School of Business. Jackson excelled inside & outside of the classroom, becoming only the 3rd baseball player in Gonzaga's history to be named to the Academic All American Team.After college, Jackson spent 3+ years as a professional baseball player for the Tampa Bay Rays Organization. Each off seasons, he would return to Gonzaga where he received his MBA, all while running his licensed product retail business, which he co-founded in '05. In 2008, a long standing arm injury forced him to retire from baseball.In March of '09 Jackson joined forces w/ Entrust Bankcard, a sales organization in the payment card industry. There, he rose from Account Specialist, to Regional Account Manager, to Manager of Corporate Development, in just 12 months, before being offered a position at Recall Total Information Management ($4.1B sales FY10). In just his 3rd quarter, at Recall, Jackson ranked #2 in the Western US/Canada and by his 5th quarter ranked 7th out of 130+ sales professionals in the entire Southern U.S. His success earned him the region’s "Peak Award" given to the top 5 reps based on sales performance. From there, Jackson followed his passion of sports into the Sports Marketing field, joining Bonneville International. While at Bonneville, an ESPN Affiliate station, Jackson quickly rose to the top, before following his bloodlines into the licensed sports market, representing the Adidas Group, Mitchell & Ness & Outsrstuff, before taking on his current role at New Era Cap Co. Jackson's successes and past experiences have allowed him to continually grow personally and professionally, all while finding his passion and a positive work/life balance.
