I am a current UBC student, former varsity hockey athlete, in my final year completing an interdisciplinary degree with a primary focus in economics. Following graduation, I plan to build on my economic foundation by completing CPA prerequisite courses through the UBC Diploma in Accounting program or CPABC. My future goal consists of obtaining the CPA designation to establish my professional path as a valued chartered accountant.My undergraduate degree has equipped me with a strong analytical mindset and the ability to approach challenges from multiple perspectives. In addition to my critical thinking and technical skills, I excel in communication, collaboration, and adaptability. I thrive in team environments, leveraging my ability to connect with colleagues as evidenced in my work experience and semi-professional hockey career. Having taken courses in financial accounting, corporate finance, statistics, and banking, I am passionate about bridging my knowledge with my evolving accounting skills.
