I am a current doctoral candidate at the Olivia Newton-John Cancer Research Institute. My project examines a niche of intraepithelial lymphocytes (IEL), gamma delta T cells in the mucosal epithelium of the colon. I intend to examine how these niche T cells are able to attack cancer cells despite the cancer cells masking themselves from immune surveillance.Previously I completed Honours at the Florey Institute of Neuroscience and Mental Health. I have strong scientific analysis and reasoning ability as well as proficient technical skills utilising neuroanatomical, molecular biological and microbiological techniques within a research laboratory.I am highly passionate, curious and focused in all that I do. I approach tasks methodically and with exceptional attention to detail.
