As an Air Brakes Lead on my college’s High-Powered Rocketry Club, the Tachos Lycos, I lead a team of programmers while also contributing to the design of our air brakes.I programmed the system that controls the air brakes from scratch. Leveraging my previous knowledge from robotics, I’ve applied control theory concepts to my team’s new air brakes which helps us “hit” our target apogee accurately. Additionally, I designed a flight simulation that enabled us to test our code, resulting in flawless performance during the rocket's first launch.Futhermore, I helped improve the electrical work of our system, safeguarding our air brakes from potential in-flight failures. As a mentor, I provide technical and leadership guidance to team members in service of FIRST's mentorship goal to “empower students to be future gamechangers.” This includes conducting code reviews and assisting students with complex technical challenges.

As the Head of Programming, I strategically addressed challenges and then delegated tasks within the programming division. Also, I recruited and taught new members, making the programming division go from two members to seven.In addition to my leadership responsibilities, I was one of the main programmers. I programmed the robot’s subsystems, autonomous functionality, and pose estimation using computer vision and control theory. As an Ntern at Ndustrial, I implemented new tables to Ndustrial's databases, making organizing data about the equipment we install easier. Then, I developed a page on their website, allowing for more efficient tracking and management of this equipment.My contributions streamlined the process, making keeping track of equipment more intuitive and accessible.Additionally, I improved existing pages, making further development easier and adding a page allowing users to upload files directly to our databases.
