Hi, I’m Jackson Ellis, the founder and director of Cacti Conserve – a sustainable manufacturing company. Previously, I worked in the construction industry as a surveyor and engineer for 15 years in Australia and the UK.So, what’s a hard hat worker doing in a sustainability business? Well, I’ve always been passionate about the environment and helping others. Coming from a farming background, where being outdoors in the country has exposed me to the importance of preserving our environment and natural resources, I’ve always emphasised sustainability and eco-friendliness across my lifestyle. It is with this commitment in mind that I founded Cacti Conserve in 2019. We aim to provide the local community and businesses with eco-friendly packaging and site safety products so that they can reduce their waste footprint. And through our Social Enterprise model, support Australian conservation projects protecting our precious natural places. We strive to continue innovating newer green products in-house and in collaboration with local businesses to ensure more individuals and organisations can move towards zero-waste lifestyles and build greener brands. My passion for the environment can also be seen in my role as President of Friends of Glenfern Valley Bushlands – a nonprofit volunteer group that manages 40Ha of bushland reserve on the eastern edge of Melbourne. If you’re interested in chatting about how we can help make your brand greener and reduce your business’ waste footprint, get in touch through my contact details below, and I look forward to chatting with you!Phone: 0406 089 248Email: jackson@cacticonserve.com.au
