I lead the UX, research, and design teams at Viget.

Lead designer and UI developer for Ruzuku.com, a tool for passionate experts that makes it easy to create online courses and learning communities.

Worked with Viget’s clients to perform customer research, create product strategies, and design engaging products and websites. Clients included Choice Hotels, Compassion International, Rate it All, Ogilvy, KaBOOM!, CACI, and Duke University. Designed and launched an internally developed prototyping tool called Connect-A-Sketch that allows designers to create clickable prototypes from sketches and other mockups.

Led research and product design efforts for key products and functions at Lulu.com, including publishing tools, marketplace, customer storefronts, and community features.Introduced and evangelized user-centered design principles and practices to the design team at Lulu, including the integration of our UX practice with agile development processes.

Provided web design and development support for digital library-focused research projects at SILS. Notable projects included building an online submission system for SILS student master's papers and developing a pilot strategy for an open access institutional repository of student research for UNC.

Projects included development of metadata strategies and workflows for collection management and analyzing data from user research studies.
