Presenting a high level of student services to residents while providing a residential environment conductive to academic and personal success by performing the following duties: maintain community standards and safety, perform administrative tasks, and develop a sense of community.To obtain this, about one third of my responsibilities included residential programming to meet the communities needs. I was in charge of programming on an individual and group basis while managing program budgets up to $3,000. Programming included planning and budgeting, advertising, and implementation. Some of my other responsibilities included interfacing witih residents directly assisting with conflict management and support. My role as a Community Assistant (CA) required me to be open and approachable for the residents.Lastly, other main responsibilities included basic office receptionist tasks. After normal business hours, CAs were responsible for answering the questions that were received at the leasing desk as well as perform general office duties.

Assisted a graduate student with his research on a turbine cumbustors which would theoretically increase the efficiency of a jet engine. Testing was done on a scale model of a stator section.- Used Particle Image Velocimetry (PIV) to study the flow characteristics within the turbine cumbustion chambers.- Used thermocouples to read the temperature profile throughout the fixture and at the exit of the chamber.- Used pitot probes to evaluate the exit velocity from the test section.- Used MATLAB and Excel to digest and process the results

Their main product, NEi Nastran, is a powerful, general purpose finite element analysis tool with an integrated graphical user interface and model Editor.I assisted engineers and developers by testing software and creating supporting documentation for new releases. This included training material, such as tutorials and reference manuals, and marketing material including newsletters and customer testimonials. I also assisted with general tasks in the office. As I became more experienced, I was responsible for assisting the Technical Support team calls and emails. This required me to help resolve issues customers experienced through verbal and written communications.
