Both of us are happy, energetic people who love to learn, share and engage in activities and programs throughout our community and in communities across the world. Over the last couple of years, we have been following news, websites, programs and happenings all over the world. One thing we found over and over again, is that the perspective of our youth, our future leaders, is not being heard. So, we are starting Community Kids, a platform for youth (age 5-15) to share their perspectives on any and every topic possible.Here are some of the many topics we have in mind so far: politics, technology, travel, culture, business, environment, health, food, fitness, money, relationships, family, bullying, sports and so much more. We feel this is important because some kids need to be heard and some kids want to be heard but canβt be. They do not know where or how to start sharing their opinions without criticism or anxiety, in a place they can feel confident, heard and supported to speak up, without judgement or skepticism. We believe this is a great way for them to try. And we think everyone could learn something along the way, no matter how old or experienced you are.We are so excited about this idea, and look forward to sharing and learning with you along the way.
