I am a highly motivated fourth-year student at the University of Georgia pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. My academic career has provided me with in-depth technical knowledge and hands-on experience in various engineering disciplines. I have had the opportunity to work on various projects, including designing an irrigation system for agricultural applications, and partnering with the UGA and AU Medical Partnership to design and develop 3D printed anatomical models for furthering the understanding and education of medical students. Beyond my academic work, I gained significant industry experience as a Purchasing Intern with DRB Homes in Atlanta, Georgia. In this role, I was heavily involved in the pre-construction process, where I managed budgets, estimated materials, and reviewed site and engineering plans. This experience allowed me to become proficient in multiple budget management and plan review software, which resulted in effective and meaningful contributions to the Purchasing Team. This internship taught me the importance of precision, detailed planning, and effective communication in fast-paced, professional environments. In addition to my academic and professional experience, I hold leadership positions in both campus and community organizations such as Beta Upsilon Chi, and Watkinsville First Baptist Church. Each role has strengthened my ability to work in teams, delegate projects, communicate clearly and effectively, and lead by example and with integrity as I continue to develop personally and professionally.I am very proud and thankful for the opportunities that have contributed to my skills and experiences as a student in engineering. These examples are a few of many that highlight my passion, determination, skillset, and character that I hope to continue to develop and provide to an organization.
