Utilize FieldAlytics software and Wintex 1000 probe to collect field soil samples for commercial agricultural customers for crop input planning. In addition to this primary responsibility I am called upon to drive company vehicles, operate a forklift, and deliver product.During school holidays I continue to work for FCI.

Learning site safety and safe work practices. Performing sampling or testing as directed. Providing assistance to other field and/or laboratory personnel. Transporting equipment, specimens, and documents to field personnel, laboratory, clients, or other offices, and providing physical assistance in equipment set-up. Assisting professional staff with routine tasks. Learning industry-standard proposal and report writing practices. Be exposed to client interaction. Understanding test procedures (ASTM, DOT, COE, etc.) Preparing reports. Learning how to communicate test results to clients. Learning about laboratory organization, scheduling, and efficiency. Learn about the quality management systems and procedures. Completed Nuclear Density Testing certification. Perform field tests such as slump testing and Air content Testing for Concrete.

Worked on a 5-person team to identify and mitigate hazards in the White River National Forest, Flat Tops Wilderness Area. This involved extreme hiking conditions in a full ruck pack while utilizing non-motorized equipment. Identified and felled hazardous or diseased trees. Cleared watersheds. Utilized GPS locators to mark wilderness campsites for wildfire mitigation. Completed Wildland firefighter S130/S190/L180/ICS100 Training.

Worked on a team based out of Harrisonburg, VA. Team spent 2 months cleaning trails, clearing watersheds, building trail access, removing debris from waterways at New River Gorge National Park in West Virginia. This physical labor, coupled with educational programs provided insight into natural resource management efforts throughout the National Park Service. Received certification in Wilderness First Aid. Worked with heavy equipment and hand tools. Our team survival camped in backwoods, off trail areas providing an opportunity to learn team building skills, leadership skills, and survival skills.

•Developed alumni connections for the financial and professional development of the chapter. •Coordinated group and individual meetings with alumni, event planning and fundraising. These efforts resulted in sustaining donations and educational opportunities for the membership.

•Coordinated the daily instruction for youth on the shooting range. •Conveyed safety skills, leadership, and instructional/educational abilities. •Documented the progress of all campers toward merit badge requirements. •Operated as member of a staff team to coordinate the safe care, educational and recreational activities for rotating groups of young campers throughout the summer.In addition to my one-on-one work with campers I, along with other staff, worked to maintain the camp facilities including clearing trails and roadways of fallen trees, limbs, and other debris.
