As a senior technical member of Viu Data Team:• Driving the development of data pipeline, data warehouse, data lake and data integration project.• Design and enhance data tracking flow to provide in-depth analysis and story-telling behind our data.• Oversee all AWS resources of the team and optimize the cost.• Work closely with the product team and vendors to develop multiple platforms application, data integration project.• Work closely with the UX/UI and product team to refine user experience and conversion based on tracking data.• Enable business and marketing team to make the data-driven decision by providing self-service business intelligence platform (Tableau) and ad-hoc data analysis.Major achievements:• Rebuild the whole data pipeline architecture from batch processing to nearly realtime time with AWS Kinesis and Lambda.• Rebuild the whole data platform and go for serverless like obsoleting data processing unit (EC2 x SWF) and rebuild ETL platform with AWS Glue • Enable the product and business team from just viewing Excel KPI reports to capable of doing in-depth analysis on Tableau.• Drive the development and data governance of the data lake, to enhance data enablement, integrityand security for the company.
