My name is jackson Madrid, I am a graduate of Metropolitan State University of Denver with my degree of a Bachelors in Aviation and Aerospace Science, with a concentration in the Professional Flight Officer program. I currently have my Commercial ASEL License along with my Instrument Rating and am currently employed at Mcair Aviation as a Certified Flight Instructor. I primarily work with students with zero time to get their Private Pilot's license. I also work with Commercial pilot applicants. Aviation has always been a passion of mine from going to airshows as a kid and in my early life to doing projects and things about aviation. In 8th grade, I was in charge of doing a year-long project where I chose aviation and learned a lot about the industry and business side of aviation as well as the pilot side. This is where my true passion started and has led me to where I am currently. I have lived in the Denver Area my whole life and I fly out of Rockey Mountain Metropolitan Airport in Broomfield Colorado. I got into Aviation through my father, who was a flight instructor in Jackson Tennessee in the mid-1980s and throughout the 1990s. I am hoping to continue a lifelong career in the aviation Industry I am comfortable in leadership roles, throughout high school and college I have been in many leadership roles, including being the section leader of my instrument section in the marching band where I led 12-15 high school students and helped with various things like solving problems answering questions and going to weekly meetings. I was also in scouts and have my Eagle Scout. While in scouts from September of 2015 to September of 2016 I was the leader of the troop. I was in charge of leading 30-40 younger boys, planning weekly meetings, and going to monthly meetings and leadership workshops throughout the Denver Area. Lastly, in college, I am a leader at my church, where I lead biblical discussions and lessons to a small group of college students. I lead a group of 10 students where I help plan weekly events and meet up with people on a weekly basis. These leadership roles throughout High School and college have taught me how to be organized, how to effectively do public speaking and lead large groups, and has also taught me lots of accountability with different roles and responsibilities throughout my leadership roles in High School and College. I enjoy being outdoors and doing things like going hiking, camping, and skiing in the Winter. I also enjoy socializing with friends and playing intramural sports like basketball.
