Senior Director, Digital Operations
CurrentPosition Purpose: Responsible for project managing the development and integration of digital systems required to distribute, market, sell or otherwise exploit the company’s copyrights, as well as cultivating the company’s core repertoire managements system’s metadata database and asset repository.With regard to the development of digital systems, interact with departments across the organization to understand their needs and desires for the digital infrastructure necessary to exploit or market the company’s assets. Oversee the implementation or development of digital tools in conjunction with the Marketing, Publicity and Sales departments, Senior Management, the various operating divisions, and Finance. Project management of application development by interpreting and communicating the internal business goals into the technical requirements needed by the developers to achieve rapid, agile development within a defined budget and timeline.With regard to repertoire management, ensure the timely and accurate entry of music metadata into the company’s primary asset management system for distribution into the digital marketplace, proactively analyze the repertoire database to improve data integrity, and work with external business partners on delivering content to their specifications.Outline of Specific Functions:• Digital Developmento Regularly meet with other departments to understand their needs for digital tools that will better enable the company to market and exploit its assets.o Oversee all web properties and application development initiatives.o Oversee and expand all CRM systems.o Manage all cloud-based infrastructure.• Repertoire Managemento Oversee and manage the label copy function and systems. Set a high standard of excellence for metadata accuracy and timeliness. Establish metadata standards and provide training within the company. Reporting and analysis for internal departments and external business partners.
