At Cockroach Labs, I'm the tech lead for the storage team, primarily working on the Multi-Version Concurrency Control layer and the CockroachDB storage engine, Pebble. Pebble is an open-source Go implementation of a log-structured merge tree, inspired by RocksDB and LevelDB.

I was a systems engineer and technical leader within Interstellar (and Chain prior to its acquisition).At Chain, I developed a highly-available, blockchain node implementation. I lead work on fault tolerance, crash recovery, multitenancy, blockchain validation and a query system for blockchain data. I worked primarily in Go and Rust.At Interstellar, I worked on a secure key management service built on Intel SGX in Rust and other systems at the integration point between applications and the Stellar Network.

I worked on Square's external platform, on the Developers team. I primarily wrote Go for the Square Connect API, Square ECommerce API and Square's OAuth implementation.My focus was on external APIs, disaster recovery and security critical systems.

Head teaching assistant for Introduction to Multiprocessor Synchronization (CS176).

Worked within OSD under Bing Information Platform and Experiences on the Augmented Reality team. Developed in HTML, Javascript, C# and C++ on the client side with Windows Runtime.

Worked on the Hotels Team on multiple projects touching python Selenium tests, Java servlets, Velocity templates and Javascript on the frontend.

Developed websites for university departments using a Drupal core.
