I am a data and analytics expert, with a rare background combining deep executive experience, entrepreneurial success and advanced technical skills. I’m also a lifelong learner and am currently pursuing a Masters of Science degree in Applied Statistics at The University of Oklahoma. I’ve spent the most visible part of my earlier career as the founder & CEO of HousingWire, a national news outlet focused on covering the U.S. housing market and related financial markets data and trends. I led HousingWire from concept to the most widely read media source for U.S. housing and mortgage markets, reaching millions of readers each year and hosting numerous trade conferences, before a successful exit in 2017. During that time, I was a highly sought after speaker covering the state of the U.S. housing market for national audiences in various industries.Prior to launching HousingWire, my technical expertise allowed me to effectively serve as the primary project lead between the marketing, product management & engineering teams at Sabre Holdings to launch the Sabre Community Portal globally. And prior to that, I also utilized my technical background to help a niche publishing company build and launch their very first daily news website, rebranding their lead publication in the process. I am not ONLY a data nerd. While pursuing undergraduate studies, I minored in music composition and played guitar in various bands, even recording a few songs. I still love to play guitar, and dabble in stock investing in my free time as well. I also have a keen interest in health & wellness, and am an avid masters endurance athlete.
