As a Digital Media and Marketing Intern at Purple Maiʻa Foundation, my role was to produce digital video and graphic design content for the website and social media channels.

I served as the Director of Digital Media at Nalukai Academy Startup Camp for four consecutive summers–– as head videographer, it was my job to film the camp using drones and DSLR equipment andedit the footage to create cohesive promotional and documentary content. My role included filming using DSLR and Drones, editing in Adobe Premiere and After Effects, managing the social media team, and co-facilitating sessions regarding marketing and media production.Deliverables for this role included interview segments, video edits for social media, promotional videos tailored for donors, students and parents, and various other digital assets as required.

Hawaii Student Entrepreneurs is a University of Hawaii student-run organization founded for the purpose of fostering the entrepreneurial vitality of the student body at UH Manoa. The organization provides workshops, networking opportunities, market exposure, and mentorship for aspiring student entrepreneurs.As the director of operations, my role is to plan and execute all logistics involved with meetings, sponsored workshops, networking events, and organization socials.

A bit of a Jack of all trades, I played many roles at Shaka Guide, a local startup in Honolulu. My responsibilities generally included co-managing content strategy, content creation, and contribution to social media and advertisement. Additionally, I provided creative marketing solutions for branding, SEO, and content production. I learned skills involving Google Ad production, Facebook and Pinterest marketing, Wix website production, monitoring KPIs, and conversion tracking.
