I manage sales engineering resources for Oracle Public Sector security business in North America (USA & Canada). This includes Cloud Security, Identity Management and Database Security. I also manage a team of Advanced Engineering Group, This group provides strategic technical pre-sales and enablement support across the security software portfolio. Strategic is defined as larger and/or must win deals that are qualified and vetted using a pre-defined set of deal criteria. The team is extremely specialized to provide deep technical expertise within sales cycle. Strategic wins is often accomplished through the management and implementation of Proof-of-Concepts, custom demos, technical deep-dives, customer escalations, workshops and other strategic activities. Their goal is to achieve high win rates by leveraging the skills, experience and teamwork each member brings to the group. I also have deep expertise working on an onsite-offshore model.
