Michigan Hockey Video Operations Student Manager
CurrentI currently work with the University of Michigan’s Hockey Program as a Video and Operations Student Manager. I have played a large role in helping the coaches and hockey operations staff make the transition to integrating Hudl Sportscode as one of their primary video source platforms along with XOs. I have created code windows for player and system tracking along with output reports. For practices, I mark and cut up film of the team drills so that the coaches have organized access to practice video seconds after practice ends. For games, I am responsible for marking and tracking each player’s ice time along with face-off results. During intermissions, I print out detailed reports with specific data requested directly from the coaching staff, such as individual shift length time, player’s total time on ice, player’s average shift length, and player's face-off percentage at each respective point. After the games, I work directly with the Hockey Operations staff on analyzing video and collecting data generated scoring chances for and against our team. I also aid the equipment department in daily operations and team travel and packing. Additionally, I travel on all away road trips and attend every game to aid in the teams pursuit of a tenth National Championship. This role has provided me with an in-depth understanding of the inner workings of a premier Division I NCAA Hockey Program.
Michigan Lacrosse Video Coordination Assistant
CurrentIn part with the University of Michigan Lacrosse Program, I serve as a Video Coordination Assistant. I work directly with the coaching staff, helping film, code, and organize practice and game film. I have learned how to work with a DVSport program along with Hudl sports code. I am responsible for both setting up and tearing down all technology equipment used. My work creates in-practice and game clips that are sent to on-field coaching devices that team members can use for instant analysis and strategic decision-making. I also help compile and organize film for team film sessions led by the head coaching staff. Before games, I am responsible for watching and breaking down films of future opponents to allow the coaching staff to easily navigate when rewatching scout team films. I had the opportunity to travel with the team to opposing team locations, including to the Big 10 Tournament, where our program captured back-to-back Big 10 Tournament titles.
Marketing Committee Member
CurrentI work directly with the Michigan Sport Business Association Executive Board specifically with the Marketing team. I work to create new innovative ways to represent SBA's brand and vision to our members and the public. I also attend and participate in weekly meetings to enhance my personal and professional competencies within the sport industry. Guided by the association's insightful workshops, networking events, and internship opportunities.
Press Box Operations
The Rocky Mountain Vibes are an unaffiliated minor league baseball team based out of Colorado Springs. The Vibes play in the Pioneer Baseball League with the goal of helping young players get opportunities to play in the MLB team’s systems. My role with the team was in the Press Box controlling the behind the scenes operations of the game. Before each game I am responsible for updating both the Vibes and opposing team’s stats into the leagues database. I am also tasked with preparing all material that is used for the outfield digital scoreboard which includes team line ups and individual player statistics. During the game I am incharge of updating the digital scoreboard based on what occurs during game play. This includes tracking all balls and strikes called along with all in play ball scoring. I work on a device to update the game as it happens where I digitally move players and record scoring plays as the game progresses. My work is shown both on the digital score board along with an app that fans who are not attending the game are able to view. This experience has allowed me to see and understand the workings that go into creating a sports production along with working in a minor league system helping cater a family first experience to all coming visitors.
The Coaches Site Live Conference Operations
The TCS Live Conference features many of hockey's greatest coaches presenting the skills and strategies that are implemented at the highest level of the sport. As an Operation Intern, I have written many profiles on the many Coaches that will be presenting at the Conference. I conducted extensive detailed work to craft together articulate written profiles highlighting the respective Coaches' career journey in hockey along with what makes them stand out in the coaching realm. All profiles are featured and can be found on The Coaches Site website. During the conference, I will be assisting in a behind-the-scenes operation role to make sure that all scheduled events can operate as planned and serve as a point of reference for any coaches and guests who may need assistance. This experience has immersed me in the hockey world along with giving me a greater sense of the operations responsibilities in a hockey setting.

Fan Engagment And Advertising Intern
I took on many different roles focusing on project management. I was tasked with discovering new innovative ways to increase fan engagement through the use of social media. Through analyzing different social media trends I found new creative ways to enhance viewership through social media posting. Additionally, I worked on projects that focused on sponsorship engagement. I prospected rival radio and podcasting networks' sponsorship agreements and collected data on what their sponsorship deals were. This allowed the company to have a greater understanding of new potential sponsorship patterns along with a greater understanding of consumer demographic and psychographic information. I used my excellent Excel and organization skills to compile all my project's data allowing those in higher roles to receive the information in a clear, concise manner.
