Hello! I’m Jack, i’m an ex professional boxer. I’m now a trainer, coach and social enterprise founder.I founded my organisation, the Training Cave because I’m passionate about seeing a positive change in others.This passion comes from my youth and the lessons I learnt from sports, my coaches and the people that guided me into becoming the person I am today.I am married to be best pal Lucy. We have two beautiful sons called Sidney and Sully, two dogs and a tortoise (Oscar, Molly and Squirt).Keeping myself fit is a must, these days I use CrossFit and running to keep my mind and body in good health. Walking, reading and time in the garden are some of my favourite things to do.Being a business owner is something I never thought I would become. But from the day I left school, I knew that working for someone else wasn’t for me. I’ll never forget my parents faces when I told them that I was leaving my well paid job as an electrician and going alone…without a plan! I knew I would do whatever it took to be my own boss.I laboured on building sites, started a personal training business and volunteered in a local amateur boxing gym.Over time, my fitness business grew and I realised I could go for it and set up my own boxing gym.From a one man band, to a team of full time staff, part time staff, sessional workers, volunteers and a board of directors. Training Cave is a social enterprise that has a huge impact on its local community.Whilst my Mum and Dad are waiting for me to get a proper job, I’m going to use LinkedIn to keep you all up to date with the Training Cave.
