Working with the Staples Account Executives, I led their MPS business with their clients with them or autonomously and we won with new business for both DEX Imaging and Staples.A couple of standout wins were:At Hersha Hospitality Management, just before the start of COVID-19 andworking with the VP IT, I helped the client see large productivity and cost enhancements by reducing the fleet of OEM devices to two (2) while setting up an MPS program for their corporate facilities in three states. Another big win was generated by the Staples Acquisitions Team. I led the RFI response for MPS with Hershey Foods for their attraction "Make Your Own Chocolate Bar" at Chocolate World. We won because the incumbent OEM was not able to follow through to provide data on toner coverage that affected costs. I was able to help the VP Operations at Chocolate World understand exactly how much toner they used for each custom printed Hershey's Chocolate Bar Wrapper. These customer wrappers are created by the thousands of annual visitors to Chocolate World (see photo). Providing this ability to see toner usage set us apart from competitors and allows our client to accurately forecast annual budgets for the $5MM program that runs 14 hours a day, 258 impressions per hour, 365 days a year. When you do the math, you'll see it was a great win for all!I left DEX Imaging due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. Everything just stopped. Phones rang but never answered, emails went into the abyss. In June 2020, Staples furloughed over 5,000 sales professionals and DEX Imaging followed in July 2020. -
