Currently practicing on the Northern Circuit I accept instructions in all aspects of Criminal Law. My experience includes historic and current allegations of Rape and other Serious Sexual offences, Drug Conspiracies, Fraud Conspiracies and offences of Serious Violence. Since joining Chambers in 2016 I have developed a busy Criminal Practice based on an equal split between Prosecution and Defence work. I am currently a Level 3 Prosecutor on the CPS General Crime Panel as well as a member of the RASSO Specialist Panel. Also instructed by a number of Solicitors in Lancashire, Greater Manchester and Cumbria.I am trained and authorised to undertake cases involving young and/or vulnerable witnesses and have a great deal of experience handling cases involving s28 pre-recorded cross examination. I pride myself on hard work, attention to detail and giving practical advice to clients. Since October 2022 I have also been appointed as an External Examiner for the Bar Standards Board and carry out those duties alongside my Chambers Practice. This role involves the review and approval of exams for providers of the Bar Professional Training Course ensuring this meets the standards required by the BSB.
