With more than 40 years of professional experience in film and video production and recognized with national and international awards, Jack Tunnicliffe's many talents, in-depth experience, and outstanding track record place him among the most respected and sought-after people in the industry. His attention to detail, commitment to quality, and his expertise ensure excellence in all his work. In 1995, Jack spearheaded Java Post as one of Western Canada's finest editing and visual effects facilities. In 2005, Jack created Caffeine Commercial Productions, which is dedicated to commercial, corporate, and local television programming. In 2010, Jack founded Java Post Aerial Photography, which has become a leading supplier of high-end aerial drone photography for film and television productions across western Canada, with credits such as the Mighty Trains series for The Discovery Channel, the SyFy Channel’s Channel Zero television series, the modern cult horror feature WolfCop, the Amblin Entertainment feature film A Dog’s Purpose, and the horror feature Child’s Play 7: Cult of Chucky.Jack is recognized throughout the industry as a one of Western Canada's best in the creation of visual effects, colour correction, and colour grading. Some notable credits include six seasons of CTV's Corner Gas as well as the feature film Corner Gas: The Movie, the CBC The Nature Of Things documentary Shattered Ground, the movie Stranded starring Christian Slater, the movie A.R.C.H.I.E. featuring Michael J. Fox, the movie The Adventure Club starring Billy Zane, the movie The Recall starring Wesley Snipes, and the movie The Humanity Bureau starring Nicholas Cage. Jack is one of first colourists to work in the three-screen, 270-degree Barco Escape format and Java Post Production is one of the first post-production houses equipped to handle this new immersive theatre format.
