I help protect Spanish Fork City, its employees and property through risk management and mitigation. I plan and manage safety training and incentives, respond to incidents involving staff members and other City assets, and navigate claims involving the City.I coordinate budget publication and revision. I participate in other projects as assigned by the City Manager.

I perform analysis for city executives and directors to inform decision-making regarding budget, staffing, fee rates, organizational structure, and training. I manage the City's social media pages and am the creator of "The Art Cityscape" podcast.I developed the Public Art Committee and accompanying policy. I lead the development of annual and long-term Public Art project plans. I supervise the Public Art coordinator and execute an annual Art Festival.

I work directly with the city manager in numerous functions. I prepare City Council agendas, manage records, respond to citizen inquiries, execute special projects and serve as the liaison among city departments and between the staff and council.

Kenmore, Washington

I reported to the city manager and helped the city develop regulations for temporary homeless shelters and plastic bag distribution. I drafted ordinances and presented to the city council several times. I also participated in the priority-based budgeting process and helped develop an overhead cost allocation plan for the city. I participated in projects with all city departments.

Provo, Utah Area

I began as an intern and served as the sports information director for BYU's men's track and field and cross country teams, and women's soccer team. I was an assistant sports information director for the baseball team. I helped tell the stories of hundreds of athletes and their teams, working with local and national media.

I contribute and manage sports content on deseretnews.com.

I wrote feature stories and posted social content for BYU football on Sports Illustrated's "Campus Rush" site.

Leading a staff of 5-10 sports reporters, I have produced a 2-5 page sports print section weekly for The Universe, as well as daily content on the publication's website.
