Also of note is my most recent position as Principal and Director of Architecture for Summit Engineering, Inc. In this role, I was responsible for managing clients, budgets, schedules, contracts/proposals, staffing along with contract documents for several offices. And during my tenure, I was able to be profitable for 6 years in a very bad economic climate while constructing several Wellness Centers in areas with very bad health records. These centers have provided an outlet for young and old to improve their quality of life. I am very familiar with AutoCad and have worked with Revit for the past 6 years.I have been practicing Green Architecture long before it had a name. I have been working with Geothermal systems for the past 24 years with continued success. These include everything from large High Schools to small medical offices. I have been involved with energy efficient, highly insulated buildings for many years because it was the right thing to do for the environment and for my clients. I have the ability to participate in the firm’s marketing plan through community and/or professional activities, presentations, business development meetings. I have experience in all areas of design and bid document QA/ QC. I have extensive experience with owner coordination, analysis of building programming, budget analysis, design document coordination with sub-consultants, material evaluation, bidding and construction administration/site inspections.
