I am currently focusing all of my time on what3words.Before that, the previous big project was Lingo24, the translation company that I joined as a Director and 5th company employee in 2003. I looked after the operational, technical, financial and human side of the business to grow to 150+ employees on 5 continents and turnover of £6m (growing at 25%+ per year) - and the business is still thriving as I enjoy watching from the sidelines and joining the occasional company social event!I particularly enjoy working with a basic idea to turn it into something commercially viable, as well as developing a raw team into a crack squad of managers and doers. More generally: combining operations, finance, systems design and HR into effective and good natured management of small, medium-sized and fast-growing businesses.I "get things" very quickly, see connections and find pragmatic solutions all with the aim of helping people and projects make effective progress.
