Responsible for managing the campaign for the 2025 Suffolk County Council Elections. Lead on campaign strategy, campaign logistics (including printing partners and membership/volunteer development), candidate selection and campaign technology. Working closely with regional campaign staff, the Chair and Vice-chair of the Suffolk County Coordinating Committee. Means that I have also have a place on the East of England Campaigns Committee.

Working for the Liberal Democrats in West Suffolk in the 2024 general election (two parliamentary constituencies of West Suffolk + Bury St Edmunds and Stowmarket - approximately 160k voters in total), county council and Suffolk Police and Crime Commisioner elections. Freelance work for Lowestoft and Waveney Valley.• Overseeing the general election candidate selection process.• Managing teams of volunteers, campaigners and councillors to make sure strategy, messaging and logistics are all running smoothly.• Leading on all campaign strategy – including literature, digital and face-to-face messaging. Includes effective communication with the media.• Overhauling all technological campaign platforms – including database systems, leaflet delivery systems, leaflet design systems, membership systems, email systems and website.• Attending events on behalf of the local party and liaising with other local parties, the regional party and the federal party.• Liaising with members and local community groups/pressure groups for the interests of the local party.• Planning and executing events designed to boost membership recruitment and sway voting intention.• Running training on campaign technology and platforms.• Managing all campaign logistics including printing partners, data protection and election law.• Overseeing all aspects of local party growth including diversity, membership recruitment and development.• Formulating local policy along with councillors/campaigners.I also believe it is really important to lead from the front when managing a team and that is reflected in the amount of times I went out talking to voters directly along with my campaigners, I ranked in the top 30% of canvassers countrywide in 2023 and was ranked as the 14th best canvasser in the country in January 2024 based on number of voter contacts made from Jan 1st.Achieved positive vote swings in the general election for both of my main seats.

Particular electoral highlights include electing the first Liberal Democrat councillor on West Suffolk Council ever with a massive 65% win from nothing the previous election and East Suffolk Lib Dems increasing their number of councillors from 3 to 11 and getting into administration.

Chair of the Youth Council with individual responsibilities for Youth Democracy. This included leading the planning and hosting of a Fenland and East Cambs version of 'Question Time' in November 2021. In order to do this, I had to book the venue, book guests to be on the panel, and advertise the event to the potential audience. I also had to deliver a presentation to the rest of the board in order to secure funding for the event as well as talking to many of the guests directly in order to persuade them to go onto the panel. I was also the host/presenter of the event which meant that I sat up there with the panel managing the discussions that were happening and asking questions on behalf of the Youth Advisory Board. The event was a great success as young people from across Fenland and East Cambridgeshire got the opportunity to ask questions to Mayor of Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Combined Authority Dr Nik Johnson, Police and Crime Commissioner Darryl Preston, County and District Councillor Lorna Dupre, Leader of Doddington Parish Council Ruth Hufton and MP for South East Cambridgeshire Lucy Frazer.

The Youth Advisory Board (YAB) is a collective of young people and professionals that meet on a bi-monthly basis. Our aim is to identify issues that impact young people and to play a strategic role in meeting these needs.• Discussing local policy• Planning and executing events - including hosting events on stage.• Delivering pitches and presentations.• Liaising with local decision makers such as councillors and MPsI had a prominent speaking role at their Food Poverty Conference which involved representing the YAB on a panel as the incoming Co-Chair and doing a 'Dragon's Den' style pitch to a group of investors which secured £1000 of funding for a local food poverty initiative.

Next Wave Politics was a youth-driven politics platform focusing on developing young writers and journalists. As a young journalist, I found that young voices were being stifled by the mainstream media, so I founded Next Wave as a way to allow young people to develop their skills and make their voices heard. As the founder, I not only ran the maintenance and design of the website, I also regularly created my own content for the site and I edited any articles that are contributed by other talented young people.I also interviewed high ranking politicians for Next Wave where we discuss their careers and issues that affect young people, including Steve Barclay (Former Brexit Secretary and Health Secretary) and Sir Vince Cable (Former Leader of the Liberal Democrats and Business Secretary).
