SUMMARYI Have recently completed almost five years in Saudi Arabia, where I worked as a contract employee for my own company, J. W. Wilde Consulting, Inc. I had assignments as VP Operations for Sinsina Corners, Area Manager for ArcelorMittal, Project Director for Advanced Construction Center (ACC), and Manager of Construction for Gulf Consolidated Contractors Company (GCC). My work at GCC involved complete responsibility for $2 billion in cross-Kingdom pipelines for Saudi Aramco. Additionally, I prepared a $197 million claim, which was ultimately settled for $120 million. Most of my professional career has been spent in the Oil and Gas, Petrochemical and Pharmaceutical construction sectors, working both as a consultant - J. W. Wilde Consulting - and as Vice President of Construction and Resident Construction Manager for John Brown (now Aker Kvaerner). Some of the most successful projects include 2,500,000 manhours for AECI in the Republic of South Africa, a grassroots chemical facility constructed in 18 months, a variety of projects for GE Plastics in several different locations totaling several million manhours, and the NutraSweet Project for G. D. Searle, on which maximum possible incentives were earned for the employer. In simplest terms, my goals are to embrace the most complicated of projects, build the team necessary to successfully build the projects, complete in accordance with the highest appropriate professional standards of the industry, satisfy the client, and make money for my employer.Specialties: Process construction, estimating, project controls, sales and marketing, as well as forensic and claims consulting work.

Vp ConstructionJohn Brown E & C, Inc Jan 1970 - Jan 1990In 1986, I was moved into the home office and promoted to Vice President of Construction, with responsibility for all Canadian, U.S. and Puerto Rican construction operations, sales, estimating and home office coordination. Additional activities included project agreement negotiations, special assignments, and participation as the senior company representative with the CII, Constructors Business Roundtable, and other organizations.Prior assignments included a broad range of projects as Resident Construction Manager. Over twenty years, I spent almost nine years building projects for GE Plastics at a variety of sites. In one instance, I was challenged to complete 25,000 manhours of work in a two week shutdown period. By identifying and tracking every single item that could affect progress, we finished early and the GE startup was without incident.Other projects included a 1,100,000 manhour NutraSweet project for G. D. Searle in Georgia, on which a seven figure early completion bonus was earned (the maximum allowable). I also had total field responsibility for a 2,500,000 manhour VCM and Caustic Chlorine project for AECI in Sasolburg, Republic of South Africa. The entire grass roots effort was completed in less than two years, and the successful startup lasted less than 30 days.Various CompaniesIn addition to the above, I worked in a variety of senior management, field and consulting roles, both in the United States and offshore (Israel and Greece).
