About Jack Denny
I am a Lecturer in Structural Engineering and Chartered Engineer at the University of Southampton. My research background is in blast engineering involving advanced computational modelling and experimental blast trials. My research applies blast engineering numerical and analytical methods to the field of blast injury science, where I lead a multidisciplinary research agenda focussed on the engineering and health research challenges associated with explosive violence, blast injuries and protection. My research interests include characterisation of complex blast loading scenarios, computational modelling (CFD & FEA) and blast testing.
