Mills & Cahill, LLC was founded in 2004 by John W. Mills (Jack), who had previously been a partner at Murphy & Karpie in Bridgeport for many years. Trained as civil trial attorneys, all of the lawyers at Mills & Cahill pride themselves on being extremely well prepared and eager to try cases. Since its founding, Mills & Cahill has handled both defense cases and plaintiffs’ cases, and we see each case from both perspectives. Attorney John W. Mills has won multiple verdicts in excess of $1 million dollars.   We are a full service trial law firm, that tries civil cases for both plaintiffs and defendants. We represent seriously injured plaintiffs, but we also routinely defend persons being sued at the request of their insurance company as well. I passed the written examination necessary to become a board certified civil trial advocate, certified by the National Board of Trial Advocacy. Our attorneys are also active in the New Haven community, and take a particular interest in cycling advocacy and advancing bike safety. We represent bicyclists throughout the state in various types of litigation.
