Producing 3D models and animations for the The Massachusetts Eye and Ear Cataract Master™, an interactive software designed to guide medical students through the procedures and complications of cataract surgery. It is an "immersion story" curriculum that puts trainees in realistic situations, requiring them to make decisions. The consequences of these decisions play out in animation.Over the course of the project, I created over 900 animations representing individual procedures or complications which can occur during surgery. Each animation is linked with the beginning or end of another, creating an interactive "pathway" which simulates performing the entire surgery step-by-step.
