I am an incredibly motivated and hardworking person seeking a fulfilling and successful future! I got my first job when I was 13 years old. I was given the opportunity to help out a local movie theatre by cleaning and doing odd jobs, and I eagerly took advantage because all I had been wanting to do was have a job, and I haven’t stopped working since. I worked many hours all throughout the school year while still being recognized as an honors student and a varsity swimmer, because being busy is best!I began to seek something greater, so I got a job at The Hotel Hershey; a Forbes rated, four diamond resort. This new job had opened doors to even better opportunities. After learning the ropes of my position, I began to reach out to other departments to see if they needed help. I soon found myself working six days a week across multiple Food & Beverage outlets, because it was incredibly fulfilling to help others out amidst staffing shortages, busy season, holidays, and other times of need.I was later nominated for Partner of the Month by three of my managers. This award was meant to recognize outstanding employees across all departments throughout the entire resort. My hard work paid off when I went on to win the award. At the age of 17, I was the youngest Partner of the Month in the 90 year history of The Hotel Hershey.Even though I have found a love for the fast-paced service industry, Construction Management is what I desire to do in the future. I have been deeply fascinated in all forms of construction since I was a kid. The discovery of the career path of Construction Management has opened my eyes to a world of possibilities and I cannot wait to see what my future holds!I have begun my higher education journey at Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA, studying Construction Management with specific focuses in Business & Environmental Studies.
