I have over 20 years experience working in the private and public sector in New Zealand and the United Kingdom. I have experience leading multi-disciplinary teams within local government and have worked collaboratively with council staff, Iwi, community groups and key stakeholders to develop good practice guidance, training, system and process improvements, funding policies, strategic plans, area plans and district and unitary plan reviews. I have also led resource consent processes for complex land use, land development and three waters projects. I have completed the MSP Practitioners Certification in Programme Management, International Association for Public Participation (IAP2) certification and am a certified Hearings Commissioner, having completed the Ministry for the Environment - Making Good Decisions Training in 2016. I am a full member of the New Zealand Planning Institute and a member of Papa Pounamu (Special interest group of the NZPI).
