Starting off my work life in sales in the IT industry, I soon moved on to managing accounts in the telecommunication industry and then progressing on to a channel management role. 8 years of direct experience in the telecommunication industry has honed my knowledge and skills in interpreting market directions and trends into sales. Area ExecutiveMaxis Jun 2010 - Feb 2012Previously in charge of the retail sales of Maxis/Hotlink products in Puchong (highest revenue/ARPU in Central Malaysia), Kinrara, Bangsar, Pantai Dalam, and the entire PJS.Responsibility includes deducing localized and customized strategy for each area under care to win and secure 55% of market share, expanding/improving sales of individual dealer via education and prospect of selling Maxis/Hotlink products to ensure KPIs met, and training retail dealers on every consumer products carried by Maxis or Hotlink.Serviced more than 200 retail accounts under area of care via distributor management and/or own market visit.Instrumental in the creation of a program that saw an immediate results for Wireless Broadband that saw sales increased for the whole Central team and also reviving a postpaid component that could result in a potential revenue in excess of RM1mil per annum for the company. Was appointed PIC to plan and coordinate the sales team and business partner for the iPhone4s launch.
