Mechanical Engineering Intern
In my role as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at VueReal, I focused on designing and manufacturing equipment for processing and testing MicroLED display backplanes. I designed dippers for processing the backplane and acrylic containers for transporting the displays. One of the major project that I did was a test jig that tested the functioning of the display, which involved using 5 DOFs stages with micrometers, a probe card, an optical inspection system, etc. The test jig had to align 15 cantilever probe pins with the traces in the FPCB zone of the display accurately while allowing micro adjustment and visual inspection for checking for alignment. I was responsible for designing the custom parts for the test jig, where I applied DFA and DFM, and for creating an assembly of the final model.
