Successfully launched the Hesa Data Platform in March 2023 as part of the Data Futures project - a sector-wide transformation programme. The HDP will be used by c300 Higher Education providers to submit their annual student data returns. Responsible for producing the end-to-end product spanning 5 teams and 7 applications.Laser-focus on delivery and impediment removal - ensuring all project milestones were hit.Quickly gained a deep understanding of complex business requirements.Promoted the vision to internal and external stakeholders, gaining consensus to allow prioritisation of product features; Key Stakeholders include InfoSec, Data Protection, Data Management, Customer Liaison, Specification Team, Higher Education Providers, Software Suppliers and Statutory Customers.Created and maintained project Roadmaps using Product Plan, constantly re-evaluating what was possible and ensuring Hesa delivered what we had committed to, avoiding any reputational damage.Ensured that Product Owners and delivery teams are aligned to the priorities and strategic direction for the product, allowing each of the releases in our Beta test to be delivered on time and with the maximum value added for our users.Lead increment planning sessions, working with the Product Owners, PMO and other stakeholders to define and agree increment objectives and a revised product roadmap for the next increment with appropriate milestonesWorked with the team of product owners to ensure that priorities for the overall product are understood and reflected in the product backlogs.Worked with the PMO and Programme Manager to ensure there is adequate visibility and tracking of sprint velocity and progress within the increment, and forecasting of future increments

Worked with stakeholders to identify key requirements and business priorities to create a product that would modernise, enhance and add value to business processes. Launched the full set of Sales/Planning reports used by 300+ users, spanning fourteen departments, from the discovery phase through to Go- Live, Early Life Support and into BAU. The majority of reports were developed using SSRS enhanced with .Net control pages, some produced an Excel output and several legacy VB apps were remediated to work with the new data structures.Created clear user stories with acceptance criteria and prioritised the backlog. Ensured the minimum viable product was delivered forthe go-live date which, due to external dependencies, was fixed; I reviewed the roadmap throughout the project and prioritised the business critical reports, without which ITV would have been at risk of losing revenue and damaging its reputation, ensuring that planning and sales teams were able to analyse transmitted airtime and predict the performance on future programmes daily. Worked directly with Software Engineers, collaborating to solve problems with implemented logic.Ensured accuracy and reliability of data, particularly around revenue reporting and tracking viewer impacts. To this end, I coordinated 2000+ QA tests, incorporating data migrated from the legacy software, created natively and a combination of both.. Led the UAT sign off process, using Microsoft TFS to provide an auditable trail for tests, and Jira to communicate issues raised; 700+ tests were executed by 60 users. Produced training documents and implemented a training programme for all users, in London and the regional sites.Oversaw the releases into each environment to avoid costly delays.
