We help meet the growing demand for education financing by offering clients a complete and integrated suite of outsourced services for private student loans, including underwriting, loan origination, and portfolio risk management. • Spearheaded a firewall upgrade/consolidation project moving from Nokia hardware to Checkpoint UTM firewall clusters; including network design and vendor negotiations. The successful completion of this project resulted in improved resiliency, increased capacity, simplified administration and an 80% reduction in annual maintenance costs.• Held key position on M&A integration team and was solely responsible for the LAN/WAN redesign of the acquired company including the design, procurement, and installation of all requisite equipment, as well as working with several vendors to update the facility data cabling. The final solution ensured circuit and equipment redundancy as well as diverse paths with the carrier. • Performed daily hands-on maintenance of Checkpoint firewall infrastructure; including policy changes, dashboard reporting, troubleshooting connectivity issues, and creating & maintaining site-2-site VPN connections to multiple vendors and clients.• Designed and implemented an upgraded metro area network. This design included the use of Cisco SIP/SPA modules on 6500 series chassis for OC Ring connectivity. RS Information Systems - Senior Network Engineer (Network Operations Center Manager) August 2002 – June 2003RSIS provides information technology, systems engineering and technical assistance, telecommunications services, scientific support services, and management consulting to a wide range of federal government agencies.• Lead implementation engineer for the Senior Leadership Communications System (SLCS) Air Force One. • Responsible for testing systems integration between the Government Entry Point (GEP) and aircraft remote networks of SLCS. In the weeks prior to the anniversary of 9/11 we fully tested all capabilities in preparation for a Presidential demonstration of the system.

Trojan Network Control Center - Senior Network Manager March 1999 – August 2002 The TNCC is a central satellite facility for the US Armed Forces offering communications switching for remote located units to secure data and voice networks.• Led a team of engineers responsible for installation and maintenance of communications systems, military and commercial computer platforms used in the TNCC. .• Deployed and maintained intelligence gathering systems in Kosovo.

United States Army- Intelligence and Communications Specialist December 1994 - December 1998• Responsible for providing tactical satellite communications and network management services for classified and unclassified networks in support of the 5th Group Special Forces, 101st Airborne Division and 18th Airborne Corps.• Deployed to Tusla, Bosnia in support of Stabilization Forces (SFOR), providing intelligence and communications support. This included maintaining the operation of the Trojan Spirit communications system and human intelligence gathering operations.
