Leading the Core Technical team within the Department of Economic Development (DED), Information Technology Department, responsible of the Licensing and Permitting system including the Abu Dhabi Business Center. Playing a key role as a principal technical advisor to the Business teams within DED. Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing: * Working as part of the Change Request team, we are responsible for analyzing, designing and implementing new functionalities and enhancements to existing Accela solutions at the Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing such as the e-Permits system, Holiday Homes and Tourism Dirham, in collaboration with the Business owners’ vision and goals.Dubai Municipality:* Working with team of consultants on implementing a Business Process Management solution as part of the Dubai Smart Government initiative. The system covers all permitting, licensing, certification, inspection and other online services offered by the Dubai Municipality for the citizens of Dubai among other national and international * My work involves, analyzing business requirements, configuring Accela’s in house products to cover all business rules and processes, working closely with business owners in testing those systems against pre-defined test scenarios and providing after-release support for services going live.

State of Arizona:* A ~$70M initiative to transform the state of Arizona business processes while replacing their current financial system.* Leading a team responsible for designing and implementing real-time interfacing between the State of Arizona’s procurement online system and the newly implemented financial system.* By leveraging the CGI Advantage Business Integration middleware, data such as purchase orders, requisitions, payment requests, and vendors will be integrated in real-time fashion between both systems using the latest methodologies in Service Oriented Architecture.State of North Carolina:* Implemented a ~$90M state wide enterprise tax system with the NC department of revenue.* Acting as a Data Exchange Team Lead; managing two consultants, making sure all deliverables and deadlines are met, conducting knowledge transfer sessions to client and reporting to management.* Coordinated efforts with the Data Exchange team to implement the latest Service Oriented architecture (SOA) technologies using IBM Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) framework.* Designed and built an advanced architectural system that integrates the main tax system, Oracle Enterprise Tax Management (ETM), with other systems within the NC Department of revenue. Also, worked extensively on the integration of ETM with 3rd party tools and agencies, while maintaining efficiency and security in communication among the systems.* Analyzed and developed business rules engine to interact with the main ESB applications to add more efficiency and scalability.* Designed and built an Operational Data Store (ODS) to integrate data from all source systems in a near real time fashion where it is later used for reporting and systems analysis.* Throughout the project lifecycle and as being part of the Data Integration team I was exposed to many functional areas within the tax system such as Registration, Submission Process, Financial Transaction, Revenue Accounting and Outbound Correspondence.

Microsoft selected a group of 6 graduate students at Duke University to come up with a marketing strategy to launch IE 8 among college students, our solution consisted of:* Developing and testing a marketing plan to promote Internet Explorer 8 to college students.* Surveying over 500 college students across the US, analyzing data for browser preferences and requirements, holding focus groups, conducting a two day long marketing campaign at Duke.* Presenting our final data, analysis and recommendations to the IE management team at Microsoft HQ in Redmond, WA.

* Promoted Catevo’s marketing tools by actively engaging in pitching creative ideas and solutions to big national clients like Raytheon, John Deere, and Blue Cross Blue Shield as well as many other national and local clients that resulted in thousands of dollars of revenue.* Project planned, designed and developed Content Management System (CMS), e-learning solutions and Media-Rich presentation tools.* Led cross-functional team meetings with other departments within Catevo to coordinate efforts to offer full package marketing solutions to the clients that included corporate websites, web-based portals and e-marketing campaigns that would directly impact the bottom line of clients’ strategies.

* Managed two junior software developers to help design, maintain and support business driven web applications such as Marketing, Auditing, and Real Time Tracking tools for all logistics services offered by Aramex.* Coordinated cross-functional unit testing for new releases to ensure the highest product quality and efficiency of the system to guarantee a smooth deployment experience.* Analyzed business requirements to design the workflow of the system.* Implemented and developed a Quality Management System (QMS) to help Aramex quality team to continuously monitor and improve the quality of services offered in order to maintain compliance with ISO standards.

* Designed and implemented an n-tier financial Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.* Synchronized extensive unit testing for existing modules with other team members to ensure quality assurance and achieve customer requirements.
