Indaiatuba - Sp

Reporting to the Global Facilities Engineering Services Manager, led a team of 14 Engineers and was responsible for 8 factories in South America. Managed the implementation of capital projects >$75M safely, on budget, on time, and while exceeding quality deliverables. Complexity of projects included Factories and Warehouses Expansions, Electrical Substations Green-Field, Wastewater Treatment Plants and Offices. Implemented Facility Condition Assessment Process and Facility Long Term Plan in South America.

Reporting to the Global Manufacturing Engineering Manager, led a team of Managers, Supervisors and 70 Engineers to deliver new product programs and continuously improve Combines, Front End Equipment and Planters Operations. Developed manufacturing processes to ensure improvements in safety, quality, delivery and productivity. Implemented over $20M in manufacturing processes for new product development and continuous improvement projects in order to further factory productivity and capability, advance the automation strategy, and improve process control and reliability. Led a phased implementation the Factory 4.0 concept, focusing on process automation and data analysis. Reached an employee engagement index of 90% in 2018 by maintaining a collaborative leadership style and driving a team culture for achieving achieve short- and long-term goals.

Led a team of Supervisors, 6 engineers and 71 technical associates in order to the maintain a 150,000 sqft campus with over $120M in assets, and a team of Supervisors and approximately 110 employees working in the Paint Operations of more than 4000 different parts and assemblies of the machines produced. . Developed the annual maintenance plan and associated assets and budget. Provided technical leadership for maintenance and paint engineering processes, including TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) and breakdown management of machinery, equipment and facilities. Managed all maintenance services providers contracts focusing in KPI’s and cost reduction. Developed and supported the execution of the Business Continuity Planning (BCP).

Led a team of Supervisores and approximately 250 operacional employees with an annual operating budget >$10M. Managed the assembly, weld, and paint operations for the Combines, Front End Equipment and Planters products. Guided and supported continuous improvement in all operations, including human resources, safety, productivity, quality, order fulfillment and manufacturing costs. Supported the implementation of the new productivity improvement process and the new continuous improvement pay plan for operational employees. Exceeded productivity improvement targets of up to 8% annually through line design, work balance, and manpower planning.

Horizontina - Rs

Led the manufacturing engineering team in support of the Tractors operation, responsible for manufacturing processes development and execution. Provided supervision of administrative and technical issues involving a functional group of Production Supervisors. Supported the transition of the tractors business from the Horizontina factory to the new factory in Montenegro/RS

Horizontina - Rs

Established routings, methods, layouts, tools, costs, quality plans and work standards for Tractors operations and / or new programs. Developed the front axles assembly line for the new Tractors factory in Montenegro/RS.

Gravataí - Rs

Developed and implemented manufacturing processes of Planetary Axles and PowerShift Transmissions for the new Off-Highway Products Factory. Developed and audited castings and machining suppliers to obtain specific components with highest precision and reliability.

Porto Alegre - Rs

Developed and implemented machining (cutting, turning, drilling, milling), hardening and assembly processes. Supported the development of DELPHI's new Half Shafts and CV Joints Factory.
