I am a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern #7774 working in private practice in Lake Mary. I am currently under supervision with the state of Florida receiving hours in order to obtain my license.I am continuing my education to receive my doctorate with a Ph.D in counseling studies. While attending school I have had great opportunities to get experience in the field which includes counseling children, adolescents and families. I have training in Functional Family Therapy which was conducted by co-founder Dr. James F. Alexander in 2007. I myself have conducted group sessions for teens with topics related to anger management and teens from divorced families.Working in agencies and private practice has provided me with the knowledge and experience I am still learning today. Each day I grow as a counselor and learn new ways to help my patients reach and attain their goals.
